Work in Progress – Messing in the Kitchen.

Oatcakes. Makes 6.

I cup fine GF oatmeal (you can whizz whole oats in a baby food processor/attempt hand blending.

Alternatively use whole oats for chunky oatcakes)

I small organic apple, washed and cored.

a tsp of dried flaked kombu seaweed

a tsp of ground cloves

chia seed egg replacer (I tbsp chia to 3 tbsp water left to sit for 15 mins)

1/3 cup boiling water.

Add boiling water to oats and stir till fully mixed. Roughly chop apple and blitz in food processor with kombu and cloves. Stir in to oat water mixture. Stir in chia egg replacer (should have slight jelly-like consistency.)

Cooking to be refined. Hmmmm. Interesting.
